Education Session: Is There a Case for Green Building?

Wednesday 6 March 2013, 13:30 – 14:15, EcoBuild Arena in the Expo Hall (main speaking venue)

The session will be introduced by Jonathan Dimbleby - a well known British presenter of current affairs, political commentator, TV host and writer. 

Jonathan will be hosting the session and moderating the panel discussion. There will be a presentation of findings by Miles Keeping followed by a panel discussion.

Join the World Green Building Council as we release a new global report: "The Business Case for Green Building: A Review of the Costs and Benefits for Developers, Investors and Occupants. Findings will be presented and a robust discussion will be moderated by Romilly Madew from the Green Building Council Australia, with a panel of senior executives from Brookfield Multiplex, Maastricht University and Grosvenor.

Thursday 14 March 2013, 10:30 – 11:30, RICS Stand #R29.32 in the Riviera Hall

RICS is partnering with the World Green Building Council to present the release of a global report on the Business Case for Green Building in 2013. Based on the best international evidence and support for the impacts of green building, the report will uncover findings on risk assessment, asset value, building and operational costs, and the health and productivity of building occupants.  RICS Senior Vice President, Louise Brooke-Smith will be introducing the report; Jane Henley , CEO World Green Building Council will be presenting the findings followed by a robust discussion and networking session.

Jon Lovell, Deloitte Real Estate, Sustainability will introduce the Business Case for Green Building to the British Property Federation.  Other speakers include Liz Peace, CEO of the Brittish Property Foundation,  Sander-Paul von Tongeren, Founding Director of the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark and APG (the largest real estate investor in Europe.
