Asia Pacific green building business case for investors

Property investors, particularly in the Asia Pacific region, often still see green building as an added cost. While research within the building community has shown that green buildings yield economic benefits such as higher rents, higher occupancy rates, higher resale prices and increased worker productivity, the real estate investor community look at their investments using slight different metrics.

Our Asia Pacific Regional Network of Green Building Councils has set out to strengthen their relationship with the investment sector and address this mismatch in metrics so that investors can capitalise on the economic value of green buildings and prioritise investing in them.
