| Description: | Our vision of a transformed built environment leading to a sustainable future is supported by a coalition of public and private building industry leaders across Canada. To achieve its mission to "lead and accelerate the transformation to high-performing, healthy green buildings, home and communities throughout Canada," the CaGBC works with over two thousand members and eight chapters across the country . Since its inception, the Council has worked to: change industry standards and policies; develop best design, construction and operational practices and guidelines; advocate for green buildings with all levels of government & industry; and,deliver education and training programs to support professional development. |
