| Brief History: | Established in 2008 as a market initiative. Operating as BREEAM National Scheme Operator under license of BRE. Released first version of BREEAM-NL New Build on October 1st 2009. |
| Description: | Well established Council in The Netherlands. Steady growing number of participants (crossed 250-mark in March 2010). Mainly financed by participants. Participation comes from a broad cross-section of the building industry and also includes knowledge institutes, provinces, municipalities, financers and other related sectors. |
