WorldGBC is seeking an intern to support a number of critical global functions and activities, and to provide an individual with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the green building sector.
The Intern will support research and engagement with global GBCs and partners on the WorldGBC’s involvement with the crucial COP21 event in Paris in December, learn about major global trends in the green building sector by supporting speaker briefings and logistics for the major WorldGBC Congress event in Hong Kong, and develop their social media skills by contributing to WorldGBC’s social media engagement (Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn).
The internship is ideally suited to an individual looking to pursue a career in sustainable development, with a keen interest in gaining experience of either a business and/or NGO context. The role would suit a graduate or current university student, with strong communications, research and analytical skills and interest in and some knowledge of international market-based, private-sector led solutions to climate change and sustainability, particularly green building. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and social media skills.
