Businesses in the Asia Pacific region which are leading the way on sustainability in buildings have just four weeks remaining to enter the World Green Building Council’s prestigious Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards 2016.
The deadline for nominations for the Awards, which showcase and celebrate the achievements of companies and innovators in WorldGBC’s Asia Pacific Network, close on Wednesday 15 June.
There are two award categories: the Business Leadership in Sustainability Award, which recognises companies which are truly integrating sustainability into their business models and contributing to the transition towards a sustainable built environment; and the Leadership in Sustainable Design and Performance Award, which honours pioneering green building projects that deliver a range of benefits through a holistic approach to sustainability.
A high profile jury, featuring green building experts from organisations such as the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and the International Finance Corporation, will judge the Awards.
The Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards represent a fantastic opportunity for businesses to raise their profile and receive recognition for their leadership and achievements.
They are the only awards to recognise green building achievements across the whole of the Asia Pacific region and in 2014 were hugely successful, with over 128 nominations from 15 countries in the region.
Nominations must be submitted through a Green Building Council within the region. To enter, download a nomination form here. The deadline is 15 June, and Green Building Councils are required to submit their nominations to WorldGBC on 15 July.
