Zach serves as the Head of the Sustainable Communities Initiative and the Climate Positive Development Programme at C40. He is a founding member of the team that launched the Climate Positive Development Programme.
For the past four years, Zach has been working with both private sector developers and city partners around the world on developing locally relevant solutions to find replicable models for sustainable city growth.

Lauren Sorkin speaks about the Rockefeller Foundation's 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) program, which is dedicated to helping cities around the world become more resilient to the physical, social and economic challenges that are a growing part of the 21st century. 100RC aims not only to help individual cities become more resilient, but will facilitate the building of a global practice of resilience among governments, NGOs, the private sector, and individual citizens.
Clay Nesler of Johnson Controls and the Institute for Building Efficiency speaking on the Building Efficiency Accelerator project launched under the umbrella of the UN's Sustainable Energy for All initiative. Clay spoke about the program and how GBCs can be part of this global public-private initiative to double the rate of building energy efficiency by 2030.
