The company is committed to grow its commercial portfolio in key Asian cities. Its portfolio of overseas commercial properties includes a completed retail mall Life Hub @ Jinqiao in Shanghai, China; Saigon Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as well as the International Financial Centre Jakarta in Indonesia. In May 2013, Keppel Land launched its new tagline "Thinking Unboxed". The new tagline reflects the company's commitment to continually innovate and shape the future – the feature may not be revolutionary or dramatic, but makes a difference functionally and aesthetically to end users.
One example of innovation is the green wall at Ocean Financial Centre – standing at approximately 19 m high and 110 wide, the 2,125 sqm green wall is equivalent to eight tennis courts. It is formed with close to 57,000 pots of plants to make up the map of Singapore, Southeast Asia and the world. Beyond aesthetics, the wall reduces the temperature of the rear car park, filters out car emissions and provides visual relief against the concrete landscape of the CBD. Keppel Land's efforts towards driving innovation were recognised, with the company garnering the Channel News Asia Innovation Luminary Award 2014.
