Project Manager, Better Places for People
Colin is the Project Manager for WorldGBC’s Better Places for People, a global campaign which aims to raise awareness of how buildings impact upon health and wellbeing, and encourage those who design, build, own, occupy, operate or sell them, to shape buildings for the benefit of people. Colin is a strong proponent of using the business case for sustainability as a call to action for a more sustainable world. Using data to drive decision making has always been an important part of his professional and academic career, and day to day life.
Prior to joining WorldGBC, Colin worked in a number of technical sustainability roles, in areas including greenhouse gas and airborne pollutant quantification and management, drinking water and wastewater treatment, and solid waste management.
Colin will soon complete a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, with a focus on the computer modeling of the ultraviolet (UV) wastewater disinfection process. He also holds a MASc in Financial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
