We Announce our New CEO

Terri_Wills.pngWe're delighted to announce the appointment of WorldGBC's new CEO, Terri Wills. Terri will lead our initiatives to support members, promote collaboration and innovation, and accelerate global change. She joins us from her role with the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, and brings a wealth of experience that we know will help us all to take WorldGBC to the next level. Terri will join us on 1 June, and we are all looking forward to transforming the built environment with Terri at the helm! Learn more about our new CEO.

ERN Award Nominations Now Open

Nominations for our Europe Regional Leadership Awards 2015 are now open! These awards promote leadership and inspire best practice in green building policy, construction projects and corporate initiatives. All GBCs are eligible to submit nominations, so help to promote those delivering the changes needed for a sustainable future, and nominate a green building champion in your country. WorldGBC Congress 2015 Hong Kong

A big thank you to our GBCs for submitting more than 130 suggestions for speakers at WorldGBC Congress 2015 Hong Kong! Because of your direct input, the conference will feature an impressive, interesting and inspiring range of speakers in Hong Kong this October. Congress is designed for green building professionals like you and your members, and with your feedback we’re working hard with HKGBC to create an event that provides maximum value. Build Upon Project Launches

Key organisations from 24 countries came together in March for the launch of Build Upon. A Europe Regional Network project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, Build Upon is aimed at supporting the design and implementation of national renovation strategies across nearly half of the EU, and the project is set to make a significant impact in the region over the next two years. Read more about this exciting project or view the launch event video.
