Be a green building pioneer! Join an EU workshop to test Level(s) reporting framework

Tuesday 31st October 2017

The European Commission is inviting key players from within the building and construction sector to play their part in the testing phase for Level(s) - a new voluntary reporting framework aimed at improving the sustainability of buildings – by joining a special workshop on Monday 4 December in Brussels.

Level(s) is a key tool of the EU’s circular economy package that will link action taken at the building level with overarching global priorities that aim to balance the economic, social and environmental dimensions of global development. Using existing standards, Level(s) provides a common EU approach to the assessment of environmental performance in the built environment.

This is a unique opportunity for green building professionals to learn and help shape the development of the tool.

This workshop marks the start of a two-year testing phase and aims to bring together pioneering organisations to learn about:

  • How Level(s) aims to transform the building sector, including the key objectives of the testing phase and the vision for how Level(s) supports future market growth
  • How market leaders are preparing to pilot Level(s) on their projects, and how certification tools are preparing to integrate Level(s)
  • What support is available to organisations testing Level(s)

As places are limited to 50 places, priority will be given to those who intend to test Level(s) on a specific building. The registration link is available herehttps://www.euconf.eu/conference-on-sustainable-buildings/registration.html
