The early bird catches the worm… don’t miss out on Congress discount

Wednesday 01st June 2016

Green Building Councils and their member companies have just one month to register for discounted ‘early bird’ tickets for WorldGBC’s Congress – the annual gathering of the global green building community, which takes place in Sweden in October.

The event, which is this year combined with Sweden Green Building Council's annual conference to be "Building Sustainability, with WorldGBC Congress Sweden", is jointly organised by the City of Stockholm, Sweden Green Building Council and WorldGBC.

It will see 1,000 key green building players descend on Stockholm for a packed three-day agenda of international conference sessions, networking, awards and a gala dinner.

Staff and Board members of Green Building Councils can register for the WorldGBC members package early bird ticket before 30 June, which includes:

  • Access to WorldGBC Members' Day (17 October), the annual day where GBC staff from around the world connect face-to-face to learn about their impact and achievements, as well as helping to shape the future work of WorldGBC.
  • Access to a two-day conference (18 and 19 October) on how the built environment can actively contribute to sustainable living and a more stable climate, with top international and Swedish speakers.
  • An optional ticket to the gala dinner (18 October) at the world famous Stockholm City Hall, where the Nobel Prize Award ceremony and banquet is held each year.

Staff of Green Building Councils’ member companies, as well as conference partners and sponsors, can take advantage of a separate early bird package, which includes:

  • Access to the conference (18 and 19 October)
  • An optional ticket to the gala dinner (18 October)

Standard early bird tickets are also available for companies which are not members of Green Building Councils. All three early bird ticket options are available until 30 June.
