TGBC (CEDBIK) attended the Turkish Real Estate Summit, exhibitions and panel discussions on June 15-17. The Turkish Real Estate Summit, exhibitions and panel discussions have been organized by CEDBİK’s member Gyoder (the Association of Real Estate Investment Companies) in İstanbul. As one of the most important events in the world of real estate, ISTANBUL REstate covers the complete spectrum of the real estate economy and business. It offers a broad stage for international networking for the most powerful markets. An expected total of 65 exhibitors from all over Europe, the Middle East, Africa as well as Russia and the CIS make a name for themselves by forming the heart of the exhibition. The ISTANBUL REstate represents every important sector of the real estate industry as exhibitors introduce their projects and investment opportunities, and contacts are established. CEDBİK had a stand in this exhibition for 2 days and introduced itself to members of the real estate industry. CEDBIK organised the second seminar on June 22nd for its members only and a select group of guests. The topic of the 2nd seminar was indoor air quality. The President of the Turkish Green Building Council, A. Nihat Gökyiğit opened the seminar with a welcoming speech. His speech was followed by a presentation by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Balanlı and Associate Prof. Müjdem Vural from Yıldız Technical University where they explained all the various components of a building that have an effect on its indoor air quality. The conference continued with a presentation by the Sales Manager of Alarko, one of ÇEDBİK’s members, during which he explained the effect of the mechanical air distribution system on the indoor air quality of a building. TGBC (CEDBIK) acquired 2 new members, one of which is, Petra Industrial Products, a firm which imports environmentally friendly flooring materials. |
