World GBC membership levels:
Established GBC – a Green Building Council with WorldGBC Established Member status.
Emerging GBC – a Green Building Council with WorldGBC Emerging Member status, working towards achieving Established member status.
Prospective GBC – a group who has been officially recognized by WorldGBC as the entity establishing a GBC in their country and working towards gaining Emerging Member status (have submitted an Expression of Interest which has been approved by WorldGBC).
Associated Groups
These are interest groups who have begun communicating with WorldGBC around developing a GBC in their country, have received some initial guidance and are working on bringing together all of the interested stakeholders across the building industry to head this initiative.
