The WorldGBC Asia Pacific Regional Network had a successful Roundtable Dialogue with network members, government officials and APEC-ASEAN representatives, as part of the International Green Building Conference (IGBC) 2011, held in Singapore from 13 – 16 September.
During this event in Singapore, the Regional Network met and agreed upon the following five key focus areas for 2012:

- Improve government relationship strategies in communicating the ‘green business case’.
- Produce a common calendar of GBC events.
- Increase capacity building at governments and GBCs, particulary with regard to the mindset shift on ‘cost to value’.
- Collaborate on education initiatives within the Network.
- Develop research opportunities and leverage the UNEP/Singapore BCA partnership platform.
The network looks forward to further collaboration and success in 2012!
