Annemarie van Doorn is the CEO of the Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC), a foundation which is the largest and broadest movement encouraging sustainability of the built environment in the Netherlands.
Previously, she worked at the Corporate Sustainable Development Department within the ABN AMRO bank for many years. Within that same period, she also initiated and managed the first Green Business Clubs in the Netherlands. She was also one of the founders and board members of DGBC in 2008. As former member of the board she was responsible for the positioning of the DGBC. She also launched the very successful format for the Dutch Green Building Week.
Van Doorn graduated as a psychologist.
