We believe in strong governance and accountability – to our mission, to the green building movement, and to our member Green Building Councils.
And this is the role of our Board of Directors, a group of highly experienced building industry professionals who hold senior positions on the staff or Boards of our Established member Green Building Councils or who are closely affiliated with them.
The Board’s role is to advise and oversee WorldGBC’s organisational strategy and governance, and to ensure we are operating effectively as a not for profit organisation and delivering on our mission.
We follow best practice governance and elect our Chair and each Board member every two years.
