Marco Caffi is COO of Green Building Council Italia. He graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Brescia, and completed his training with a PhD at the Politecnico of Milano and a master’s degree in Project&Construction Management at the University of Brescia.
Before joining GBC Italia, he was technical director and vice president of an engineering company operating in energy, sustainability and technological application in buildings, developing a depth knowledge of building technologies in various sectors (airport, hospital, industry, office buildings, retail and entertainment centers) and a competence in the management of processes.
In 2010, with other eight friends, he founded the edutainment science center AmbienteParco, a social initiative dedicated to environmental sustainability located in Brescia.
Since 2014 he has taught Mechanical, Eletrical and Plumbing systems for buildings and dynamic energy simulation at the University of Brescia. In 2015 he joined the Green Building Council Italia as COO.
In his free time Marco loves sailing and playing guitar.
