Francesca is the CEO of Perú Green Building Council where her mission is to lead the effective and comprehensive implementation of sustainable construction in the country, engaging the active participation of the private and public sectors while developing education related and promotional activities that will allow for a transformation of the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated.
Francesca is also the leader for the LEED International Roundtable Perú, a member of the World GBC´s America´s Regional Network Steering Committee and the Regonal Vice-Chair for 2017-2018. She had the opportunity to be a guest presenter at the Greenbuild US 2014 International Conference and Expo in New Orleans, at Greenbuild Brasil 2015 International Conference and Expo in Sao Paolo, "Sustainable Cities Forum" in Panamá 2016, and multiple conferences at a national level in Perú. She was a reviewer for new presentation proposals for the Greenbuild US 2015 Conference and Expo in Washington DC and part of the Toulouse Lautrec Institute architecture and interior design careers steering committee.
Prior to working at the Perú GBC, Francesca led the LEED certification department for one of the largest Latin American LEED and Energy Consultancy firms, SUMAC Inc. She worked hand in hand with developers, investors, architects and engineers in order to achieve LEED Certification for more than 20 projects in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Perú. She also led the establishment of new LatAm offices and Certification procedures as well as participated on marketing and business development strategies for the company.
Francesca is a LEED AP BD+C; LEED Accredited Professional with a focus on Building Design + Construction and ID+C; LEED Accredited Professional with a focus on Interior Design + Construction.
Francesca's native language is Spanish but she is completely fluent in English.
