Matthew is the Climate Action Manager at the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).
Matt oversees our global Climate Action programme, engaging the network of Green Building Councils, programme partners, and industry organisations towards total sector decarbonisation by 2050. He also leads the development and delivery of WorldGBC’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment, a leading built environment industry climate initiative, recognised as a supporting initiative of the Buildings Breakthrough and a Race to Zero 2030 Agenda Breakthrough accelerator initiative.
He started his career in communications, previously working in Brussels for both the UN and a media company focused on sustainability, where his clients included: the UN, the EU Commission, Horizon 2020 research programmes, and several other international initiatives such as Cities4Forests.
