‘Reflect, Debate, Advise - Get Level(s) right’ conference

Brussels, Belgium
Thursday 20th February 2020

Hosted by the European Commission, the aim of the 'Reflect, Debate, Advise – Get Level(s) right conference' is two-fold – firstly, to present the analysis and findings of the Level(s) test phase; and, secondly, to further engage with testers, test co-ordinators and stakeholders more widely from the building sector on how to revise Level(s) and ensure its success. The Commission aims to release the final publication version in the summer of 2020, so  continuous participation in this process will be very important.

During the morning, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) will present the results from the Level(s) testing, which involved over 130 buildings. The findings are based on the testers’ results, survey responses as well as verification interviews with selected test teams. This will be complemented by findings from national tests in France, Finland and Denmark. The afternoon will offer the opportunity for participants to help shaping the future of Level(s). This will be done through a series of discussions on how to improve the tool and assure its success, based on the findings from the test phase. The JRC, together with a selection of testers, will present initial ideas and proposals as the basis for further discussion.

Following on from the event, participants will also have the chance to submit comments on the initial proposals for the future of Level(s) made by the Commission. This can be done until the end of March 2020.
