Hosted by Guatemala Green Building Council, Guatemala Sostenible is a 4 day platform that leads the way in sustainability in Guatemala to promote change and preserve natural resources.

Tuesday 15 October -  Discussions on different topics including sustainable architecture, the influence of landscaping, urbanism and architecture in human health, sustainable materials, and many more. Guatemala City Major Ricardo Quiñonez and USGBC CEO Mahesh Ramanujam are among the keynote speakers.

Wednesday 16 October - LEED, ARC and EDGE workshops.

Thursday 17 October - Greenbuilding Tours to two LEED projects: Forum Zona Viva (LEED Silver) and Granat, which is still in construction.

Friday 18 October - Climate strike with Fridays for Future at Plaza España, one of the most emblematic and public places in Guatemala City.
