Europe Regional Network key contact: Marco Marijewycz, Team Leader - Technology Policy and Systems Analysis

As Team Leader of Technology Policy and Systems Analysis in E.ON’s global unit ‘E.ON Technologies’, Marco has been deeply involved in UK and EU decentralised energy policy and standards for over 8 years. He has been part of a number of key UK Green Building Council (UK-GBC) industry task groups including their Zero Carbon Homes Task Group (2008), Code for Sustainable Buildings Task Group (2009) and Sustainable Community Infrastructure Task Group (2010). Marco has also been engaged in Smart Grid Standardization topics at a European level through the CEN-CENELEC-ETSI Smart Grid Coordination Group, where he was a member of the Working Group Sustainable Processes/Methodology. Marco holds a BSc. Management Sciences and an MBA in Global Energy (with distinction) and has previously spent time with BMW UK earlier on in his career.
