BGBC Academy Creates New Master's Degree in Sustainable Urban Development

BGBC Academy in partnership with Varna Free University "Chernorizetz Hrabar" has created a new Master's Degree, "Sustainable Urban Development."

This is the first masters degree program in Bulgaria in the sustainable construction sphere and will examine in detail the components of sustainable urban development: urban planning, economics, energy efficiency, environment, mobility, resources, etc. The courses will be prepared by licensed experts from BGBC Academy and will include theory and practice at national and international level.

During the Master's program, participants will be able to gain a recognized qualification, "World Green Building Professional", after specialized training conducted by BGBC Academy.

Sustainable Urban Development is of crucial importance for the next 2014 to 2020 planning period, in order to achieve qualitative changes associated with deep renovation of buildings and urban districts.

The program provides an ideal opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in the most recent topics related to sustainable urban development, and will start at the beginning of 2014.
