WorldGBC Common Education Platform Delivers in Poland

Friday 15th May 2015

The Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC) presented a successful training session on Sustainable Real Estate Management last week, at the Siemens Headquarters in Warsaw.

The training gathered a wide range of key industry leaders for an interactive learning and networking session. Participants exchanged their current experiences on common real estate management practices and gained knowledge on green building strategies, emerging technologies and an integrative approach to managing the entire life cycle of a building.

"Commitment to sustainable management is very strong at Colliers International. The Sustainable Real Estate Management training  was very inspirational. I do hope that PLGBC will offer further trainings that will, in a similar manner, mix best practice case studies with practical innovations that can be implemented in our region," said Andrzej Gutowski, Senior Associate, Green Building Certification, Colliers International

The course is part of brand new material produced by the World Green Building Council's ERN Common Education Platform, which drives knowledge sharing and learning between GBCs and their members across the European region, with the focus on creating co-efficiencies to help significantly scale-up this crucial activity in the area.

"The content of the course and its delivery by Mr Joseph Marfi has perfectly matched the needs of Polish industry professionals, which clearly shows that the market needs this kind and quality of education. With this training, PLGBC entered the next phase of our educational strategy, with other interesting courses coming soon," said Alicja Kuczera, acting CEO of PLGBC.
