WorldGBC to participate in UN Race to Zero Dialogues
The World Green Building Council is to give a presentation on 18th November as part of the United Nations’ Race to Zero Dialogues.
These virtual events will be hosted across multiple time-zones between 9-19 November and will aim to chart how entire sectors are already rapidly transitioning to a zero-carbon future. This is in the absence of the delayed COP26 Climate Change Conference which is now scheduled to take place from November 1-12 2021.
WorldGBC’s segments will take place at 9.10-10.15am GMT, and 12.00-13.00 GMT on the Built Environment sector day of the dialogues.
Together with other leading built environment bodies, WorldGBC will discuss the need for stakeholders from across the value chain to come together to accelerate the built environment to net-zero, as well as how policy, finance and industry leadership can drive decarbonisation and ensure the resilience of built environment assets.
